Thousands of couples are expected to get married, as since March 2020 the marriages that took place were negligible due to the pandemic.
The President of the Association of Professionals of Marriage and Receptions, Konstantinos Mosaikos, spoke at Mesimeri kai Kati, stating that the date for the restart of the industry was "locked".
"After several days of communication with the Ministry of Health, we decided that the date for the opening of our branch will be May 17," he said. "From May 17 onwards, all receptions will take place normally, based on the protocol we set at the Ministry of Health," he added.
More information will be given in the coming days according to Mr. Mosaikos.
According to information, the Association had a contact with the Ministry of Health and what was discussed regarding the restart of the industry was that this will be done after mid-May, if and when the epidemiological picture allows it.
