The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulidis, will visit Paris for talks with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.
As KYPE is informed, President Macron invited his Cypriot counterpart to France in order to discuss more thoroughly the proposal of President Christodoulides for a more active involvement of the EU in the efforts for the Cyprus issue, always under the auspices of the United Nations.
The invitation was addressed last night during a telephone conversation between the Offices of the two Presidents in order to arrange their bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the forthcoming European Council, which will take place on March 23 and 24 in Brussels.
President Christodoulidis will also have separate meetings on the sidelines of the European Council session, on March 22, with the heads of the EU institutions, namely with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola.
In the meantime, the President of the Republic concludes today his contacts during his official visit to Greece with a private working breakfast with the Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, separate meetings with the leaders of the parliamentary parties and a meeting with the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Hieronymus B '.
