The "Isaac-Solomos Memorial Initiative" bid farewell with unlimited respect and gratitude to retired Lt. Gen. Ilias Glentze, who as the Accountant of the 31st Assault Squadron, bravely fought the Turkish invader in the Pentadaktylos in the black summer of 1974.
Ilias Glentzes passed away on Wednesday, June 28 and was buried on Saturday, July 1, 2023 in his hometown, in Sparta, under the shadow of Leonidas and the Greek homeland.
