The President of the Republic, Nikos Anastasiadis, described the work of the Tender Review Authority as very important, noting at the same time the need for its proper staffing so that it can perform even better.
President Anastasiadis received today, at the Presidential Palace, the President of the Tender Review Authority, Efi Papadopoulou, who handed him the Authority's annual report for 2020, noting that "the Authority always tries to do its best within its responsibilities possible, so that there is the possibility to proceed with the projects, which contribute to the development and the economy of the place ".
According to a statement from the Presidency, upon receiving the report, the President of the Republic thanked the Authority and congratulated "on the important work you are carrying out for the progress of development projects".
He noted that these are done with offers "and often there are disputes either for formal or legal or other reasons", and the role of the Review Authority is important.
What is observed, he added, "is the delay. We will see the problems directly in the Council of Ministers, so that the Service is properly staffed and can perform even better. That is, in the efforts of acceleration to have the assistance of the necessary, necessary employees who should staff a similarly important Authority ".
Finally, Ms. Papadopoulou told the President that the Authority is looking forward to his help, and he replied that "it is something that I have been concerned about for a long time in order to speed up the procedures".
