Theodoros Kyriakou was hosted on the Protoselidos show, who was invited to comment on the speech of Metropolitan Morphou on sex education in schools and homosexuality.

The Metropolitan of Morphou stated, among other things, that the decision taken by the synod on sex education is not final and is subject to the presence of the Minister of Education before the synod and after presenting her positions, then the synod will make a final decision.

In his speech there is also a comment that Theodoros Kyriakou considers the view of the Apostle Paul on the subject of homosexuality to be anachronistic.

Mr. Kyriakou replied that, "at that time homosexuality was a choice, while today it is not considered, it is the identity of man and if we consider that God allows such people to be born and then sends them to hell because they cannot change then what God it is him; Homosexuality is not a sin."

The speech of Metropolitan Morphou:

Regarding the Metropolitan of Paphos, he said that, "we met him as an Archimandrite protosygello who took advantage of his position and climbed to the metropolitan throne of Paphos. There are reports that Tychicus reacts to the reception of the chariot of the Apostle Paul in Paphos because it will be carried by Roman Catholic clergy. If possible".

Mr. Kyriakou noted that the reaction of Tychikos on the issue of holistic sexual education is unacceptable. "He did not wait for the Synod which gave him a catalytic answer. There was also tension within the session on this issue. We were waiting for a new Metropolitan to bring something new to the church," he added.
