Pending the test results, a woman is in quarantine on the fifth floor of the Limassol General Hospital, while a couple who did not have symptoms of coronavirus were discharged. All three people visited the city's public hospital late yesterday afternoon, after a trip to northern Italy.
The woman has some symptoms which were judged by the doctor that "they had to go through the system and be examined", said this morning in KYPE the General Director of OKYPY of Limassol-Paphos Region Christos Nikolaou, adding that the results are expected to be ready late afternoon.
The couple, who also visited the Limassol General Hospital yesterday, stating that they were on a trip to northern Italy, were discharged as they did not show any symptoms.
Regarding the woman who had come in contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus in Italy and whose results were negative for the virus, Mr. Nikolaou said that today marks 14 days since the incident and he will be discharged.
