Instructions for the investigation of the case of a 47-year-old man, who fell ill with coronavirus and died, after a relevant publication by a specific person on Social Media, was given to the Chief of Police, the Attorney General George Savvidis.
In his statements to KYPE and when asked about the public complaints through a social networking platform about the circumstances surrounding the death of the 47-year-old Sotira Famagusta, the Police Spokesman Christos Andreou said that since yesterday after a relevant person had been identified by a relevant publication on Social Media, the Attorney General contacted the Chief of Police, where instructions had been given on the basis of this post to begin the investigation of the case for the possibility of committing criminal offenses by any person.
As he said, the case is being investigated by the Famagusta TAE.
