The first snow in Troodos is a fact. The low temperatures brought the first snow to the highest peak in Cyprus and the camera of kitasweather.com recorded the first moments of the snowy landscape.

The weather forecast
Weak low pressure affects the area, while barometric low is expected on Thursday.
Today Monday, the weather will be partly cloudy and temporarily mostly cloudy, while local rains or isolated thunderstorms are expected from time to time. The temperature will rise to around 19 degrees inland and on the coast and around 9 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy and isolated rains are likely to fall on the beaches. The temperature will drop to 6 degrees inland, around 9 on the south and east coasts, around 10 on the rest of the coast and 2 degrees in the higher mountains. Frost is expected locally in the mountains.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather will be partly cloudy and temporarily mostly cloudy, with occasional rain occasionally, while a single thunderstorm is not ruled out. The temperature will rise slightly on Tuesday, to fluctuate slightly above the average climatic values. No significant change is expected on Wednesday.
On Thursday, the weather will be mostly cloudy, with rain and isolated thunderstorms, in several areas. The temperature will drop slightly, to fluctuate close to the average climatic values.
