The Cypriot merchant ship Maritsa collided with another ship in the port of Ostend, Belgium around 14:45 on Thursday afternoon, reports the Brussels Times.
According to the report, there were no injuries from the collision.
The same information states that the Libyan ship Joy was at anchor when it was hit by the ship Maritsa.
No crew members were injured in the collision, however the ships sustained material damage and a lifeboat was destroyed.
The port police have taken it upon themselves to investigate the circumstances that led to the collision.
