A joint meeting, aimed at coordination and joint action on the issue of air conditioning installation in classrooms, will be held next Monday, September 16, by the educational organizations, OELMEK, POED and OLTEK.

In a statement, the POED states that yesterday the Board of the Organization examined the latest serious cases of interventions of a very small portion of parents and individual parents in the work of the school, which were the result of the wrong policy implemented by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth , recently and led to the public broadcasting of teachers.

"The investigation of complaints should be done in accordance with the existing legal procedures. The Ministry of Education must demand from all those who want to complain or complain about teachers, to do so personally and through proper procedures, which safeguard the prestige and dignity of teachers. He further states that as a sign of protest against the above events, the Board of Directors of POED unanimously decided to hold General Assemblies of members by voting, on Thursday 19 September, from 8:00 to 15:00, to propose to the General Meetings of the members, the realization of a one-hour work stoppage, on Monday, September 23, the first teaching period, to request authorization from the General Assemblies of the members of POED, to take dynamic measures, not excluded and strikes, in case the phenomenon of interventions in schools and teacher broadcasting.
