Twenty MPs will occupy a seat in the House of Representatives for the first time and three "old acquaintances" return to the temple of democracy after the popular verdict.
"Old acquaintances" Marios Karoyan who was elected Member of Parliament with DIKO, of which he was President and after the election of Dimitris Christofias was elected Speaker of Parliament and was elected Member of Parliament in the parliamentary elections of 30th May 2021. The second Member of Parliament to return is Andreas Themistokleous, who was a Member of Parliament for DISY after a five-year break and has now been elected by ELAM. From DISY occupy for the first time 5 MPs, 5 from AKEL, 4 from DIKO, 2 from DIPA, 2 from the Ecologists, 1 from ELAM, 1 from EDEK.
In Nicosia the popular representation was renewed with 5 MPs and specifically with them, Christofidis Christos (AKEL), Pantelidi Chrysi (DIKO) Tryfonidis Aleko (DIPA), Attalidou Alexandra Ecologists Movement Citizens' Cooperation.
In Limassol, 4 MPs were elected for the first time: Tsiridou Fotini (DISY), Sykas Nikos (DISY), Nikolaou Marina (AKEL), Papadouris Stavros (Movement, Ecologists).
In Famagusta, 4 MPs took their seats for the first time: Georgiou Nikos (DISY), Koukoumas Giorgos (AKEL), Senekis Christos (DIKO), Giakoumi Michalis (DIPA).
In Larnaca, 3 MPs were elected for the first time: Alampritis Prodromos (DISY), Ioannou Sotiris (ELAM), Apostolou Andreas (EDEK).
The Paphos new entrants are Pazaros Charalambos (DISY), Fakontis Valentinos (AKEL) Savvidis Chrysanthos (DIKO),
New entrants are both of the three MPs of Kyrenia, Superman Theodorou Rita (DISY) and Christofias Christos (AKEL).
