Athanasios Tsiamis, 32, a resident of Nicosia, Greece, left his last breath on the asphalt today, when the articulated vehicle he was driving overturned on the Troodos-Limassol road, just before the community of Moniati.
As the traffic police officer of Limassol, Marios Charalambous, stated at the scene, "this morning, at 9:45, a 32-year-old driver from Greece was driving an articulated vehicle on the Troodos road to Limassol, transporting bottled water".
At some point on the road before the village of Moniatis, in a clockwise direction and under conditions that are being investigated, he continued, he lost control of his vehicle, as a result of which it overturned, while after being dragged with his left side on the road, he was immobilized on a concrete wall. .

As a result of the collision, the unfortunate driver was crushed by the vehicle and was fatally injured, while at the Limassol General Hospital, where he was transported, his death was simply confirmed.
In a relevant question, Mr. Charalambous stated that it is being examined whether the driver was wearing a seat belt, while the vehicle will undergo a mechanical examination.
