Continuing the implementation of the National Vaccination Plan against COVID-19, with the ultimate goal of shielding the health of citizens through the vaccination coverage of a significant percentage of the population, the Ministry of Health informs that in the period 13-17 April the Vaccination Portal will be open for the following groups:
- Age group 55-56: From Tuesday, April 13, at 8 in the morning until Wednesday, April 14, at 8 in the evening. 20,000 appointments will be available.
- Age Group 53-54: From Friday, April 16, at 8 in the morning until Saturday, April 17, at 8 in the evening. There will be an announcement about the number of appointments that will be available.
In addition, due to the technical issue that arose at the Vaccination Portal on priority days for people aged 61 and over, will be given the opportunity again to people aged 61-63 years, plan their vaccination. The Vaccination Portal will be available just for people aged 61-63 on Thursday, April 15, from 8 am to 8 pm.
It is reminded that the vaccinations are done in Vaccination Centers that operate in all Provinces, with the available licensed vaccines of AstraZeneca, Moderna and Pfizer, while the vaccine of Johnson & Johnson is expected to be added soon.
Citizens are urged to they are arranging their appointment for vaccination with available, scientifically approved and licensed vaccines. Possible delay in vaccination coverage can lead to serious illness and need for hospitalization.
