The Ministry of Defense has been put on high alert due to the outbreak of cases. Cases also appeared in the army. The Ministry was taken to take emergency measures.
A guest on the show "Mera Mesimeri", the Spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, Christos Pieris, gave figures on the cases that occurred in camps. In this context he stated that Two emergency decisions were taken to decongest the situation in the camps.
The decisions:
- Maintaining the grouped expenses of the National Guard even after the end of the holiday groups.
- 2/3 of the National Guard Executives will be presented in the Units in the morning, and the remaining 1/3, in the afternoon.
"The numbers have tripled, quadrupled", stressed Mr. Pieris, and giving the current data, noted that 447 active cases are detected in the National Guard, while just yesterday (03/01), 107 cases of coronavirus were detected.
