Consultations on a new roadmap on the Cyprus issue are starting between Ankara and the Turkish Cypriot side, said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoλουlu.

Speaking to the Anatoli news agency, Mevlüt Çavuşoλουlu said that he considered it important to quickly form a new pseudo-government in the occupied territories, in order to start consultations on the new steps taken by the Turkish side in the Cyprus issue.
According to Tsavousoglou, in addition to the leader of the Turkish Cypriot community in these consultations, the so-called government also plays an important role.
He also claimed that Ankara has no objections regarding the parameters of the United Nations and accused the Greek Cypriot side that it is not interested in a solution.
In his statements, the Turkish Foreign Minister did not rule out the possibility of applying a presidential system to the occupied territories, noting that it is something that has been implemented in Turkey and there are already benefits.
