By yesterday's report on the solution of two states, he meant two states within the federation, clarified Archbishop Chrysostomos.
Speaking on the show From Day to Day, the leader of the Church of Cyprus stressed that the church, in order not to divide the people, does not oppose finding a federation solution, but added, a pure federation.
It is the Turks, he said, who interpret the federation into two states.
Chrysostom of Cyprus expressed the belief that no solution will be found that will be approved by the people, because the Turks want everything.
The non-solution, he added, is a good solution and is preferable, he continued, rather than reaching an agreement that will collapse.
Archbishop Chrysostom stressed that on a personal level he is in favor of a united state.
He also noted that he is not a politician and does not try to get votes.
