Yesterday, the cooperation between the United Cypriot Hunters Movement and the Independents Movement was officially announced. A collaboration which, according to an announcement, was taken after a collective decision of the executive committee of the Movement (75 members - 15 from each province).

According to information from Famagusta.News, the active participation of other organized groups is expected in the strengthening of the preparation of the ballot paper, while it is expected to clarify whether the deputy Anna Theologou will run in the province of Famagusta and whether the President of the Cypriot Hunters Movement Famagusta province will be one of the candidates.

This is the announcement of the United Cypriot Hunters Movement

"After considering all the scenarios at this stage, it was generally accepted that in order to bring about a real change in both hunting and the environment and society, we would have to work with other independent groups or individuals who do not belong to no party mechanism, without any coloring and share the views and positions of our movement.

The scenario of going down to the polls on our own, without the required money, without experience in the elections and without a full ballot of 56 candidates across Cyprus, which was impossible even for large parties, would probably not lead to the desired result. We can say that the hunters are 42 but how many of them are legal and right, how many do not belong to traditional parties, how many go and vote, how many would support such an effort when their personal interests are not served. Even if we entered the parliament with a minimum of 000 candidates, it would still be difficult to make a real difference.

We rejected personal and collective proposals even in exchange for rich to join traditional parties, we decided to stay non-partisan and colorless away from the interests, chairs and positions that we had been ordered. We meticulously studied all our options to make the best decision, which will help us achieve the goals of the Movement and achieve change for a better society in all areas.

The Movement has some goals and objectives. The main ones are to save nature and the environment, which are selling out and collapsing, and consequently to save the traditional and legal hunting that we learned from our grandparents and fathers and we want to pass it on to our children. At the same time, we are concerned about all sectors of society that are collapsing, such as education, health, the economy, and justice.

Through a common memorandum of understanding based on the most serious problems facing our society, we have the opportunity to enter a struggle to elect notable individuals as our representatives.
The Independent Movement with which there will be cooperation, does not belong to any political space, they are independent individuals who include hunters. They are new people puffed up like all of us law-abiding and conscientious hunters from the rotten system of all the old parties, who led us to the disaster we live in today to serve only their own interests. The Independent Movement, which is not a written political party, was created by indignant individuals and groups watching the total destruction of our country. These are the Independents as we are as Independent hunters and conscientious citizens.

This cooperation is neither in the interest of one nor the other Movement. It is in the interest of society and all law-abiding and conscientious hunters. There is no ballot leader and the election is based solely on the electoral measure and crosses of preference of each candidate, whether he is a hunter or not. All the candidates of KEKK will be listed on the ballot paper with the emblem and the name of the Movement. So it depends exclusively on the voters if they want to honor with their vote people of the Movement in the upcoming elections, to give our presence in the seats of parliament.

Who does not want this collaboration
This cooperation is certainly not to the liking of the major parties, which see independent groups coming together with common goals and objectives and likely to bring results. It has been their tactic to divide and rule for years.
This collaboration is not to the liking of individuals who do not collectively see the common good but only their personal interest or personal perception.

People who can not accept that hunters have both their healthy and legal part, which makes superhuman efforts to save both nature and the environment and offer a better future to new generations.

People who do not realize that right-minded people from all walks of life can find solutions to many problems.

People who can not understand that if we do not cooperate, if we do not unite, others will simply achieve the desired result and for another 5 years we will remain spectators in the same project and not regulators.

Any form of fanaticism is an obstacle to cooperation and clear thinking and the effort to improve any situation.

If we really want change we must put aside bigotry and personal views and see things realistically and clearly. To work in one direction, the direction of change. "
