Eleni Theocharous criticized President Anastasiadis for his policy on the Cyprus issue and the economy, speaking at the Pancyprian Congress of the Solidarity Movement in Nicosia.
He claimed that the President, with his proposals for the solution of the Cyprus problem, which are included in the Guterres document, gave everything to the Turks, while he did not receive anything in return.
He also accused him of going to the last phase of the talks to sign an interim strategic agreement, that is, a solution, but he denied it in front of the people and the National Council.
The truth, said Mrs. Theocharous, is that with the solution sought by President Anastasiadis and the deeply ananic state, they will dissolve the Republic of Cyprus and replace it with two states with equal status, with the sovereignty and veto of the Turks in all issues.
He also accused the rulers of continuing to lie about the alleged growth of the economy, something he said only the poor knew.
Eleni Theocharous also said that the only way to stop the fall into the abyss and destruction is the election of Nikolas Papadopoulos.
Solidarity, he concluded, is here and will give victory to Nikolas.

In his own speech, Nikolas Papadopoulos accused the President of the Republic and the leadership of Akel that they are trying, behind vague and meaningless discussions, to hide the imposition of a bad solution to the Cyprus problem, which will abolish the Republic of Cyprus, will not be functional and sustainable and will not ensure the survival of Cypriot Hellenism.
In February, he said, we decide whether the failed and dangerous strategy of Anastasiadis, which is also adopted by the AKEL candidate, will continue, or whether our New Strategy for the Republic of Cyprus and the solution of the Cyprus problem will be implemented.
We are deciding, continued Mr. Papadopoulos, what should and what we want the content of the solution to be, far from the false dilemma about the Federation, which he said, Nikos Anastasiadis and the leadership of AKEL are trying to maintain.
But our people, he said, have realized that this false dilemma is a cover behind which they are trying to hide the dangerous setbacks of the last ten years.
