The Plenary Session rejected the referral by the President of the Republic of the Law on Real Estate, according to which the competent authorities must inform the citizens about decisions and regulations that may affect the value of their real estate.

Parliament also approved an AKEL resolution condemning the US President's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
The resolution reaffirms the House's support for a two-state solution that would provide for an independent, continuous state on the borders of 4 June 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Moreover, the Plenary Session of the Parliament approved tonight the Regulations that determine the imposition of a 19% tax on the purchase and sale of land in the context of economic activity.
The relevant legislation was passed on November 26, with 20 votes in favor and 2008 against, after a delay of a decade since the Republic of Cyprus' compliance with the harmonization regulations has been pending since XNUMX.
The regulations stipulate that undeveloped buildable land that will be subject to taxation concerns undeveloped plots of land intended for the construction of one or more structures.
Specifically, it is noted that plots under construction, under construction, completed plots, plots with a certificate of final approval or with the title of plot are included.

The parliament will return to work after the presidential elections, in February.
