The President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, has been in Cyprus since last night for a two-day working visit.
The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulidis, had a short private meeting with Mrs. Metsolas at the Presidential Palace on Monday night and afterwards, President Christodoulidis sat down to a private dinner with Mrs. Metsolas.
On Tuesday morning, at 9.50, Ms. Metsola will go to the House of Europe, where she will have a dialogue with Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot representatives of youth organizations from civil society on the subject of the European elections.
Subsequently, at 10.25, the President of the European Parliament will go to the House of Representatives where she will have a meeting with the President of the House, Annita Dimitriou. After the meeting, at 10.50, the President of the European Parliament and the President of the Parliament will make statements to the media.
The President of the European Parliament and the President of the Republic will go to the KSED building at 11:30, where they will make statements to the media.
