The first meeting of Commission President Ursula von der Leyen with the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulidis, will take place on Wednesday, the Commission's press representative, Eric Mamer, announced during the midday briefing for editors in Brussels.
As informed by KYPE, the meeting is expected to take place late in the morning to early in the afternoon, after the meeting of the College of Commissioners
It is recalled that President Christodoulidis will be in Brussels from Tuesday on the occasion of his participation in the European Council Summit and will make a series of contacts before and on the sidelines of the summit.
Specifically regarding the meetings with the Presidents of the EU institutions, the meeting of Mr. Christodoulidis with the President of the European Council Charles Michel is expected to take place around 13:00 on Wednesday according to Mr. Michel's official schedule.
Afterwards, Mr. Christodoulidis will have a meeting at 16:30 with the President of the European Parliament, according to the official schedule of Roberta Metsola's office.
