Parks are a breath of fresh air in the ongoing construction of houses and buildings, but also a place where young people and not only, can spend their free time, away from addictions and other dangers.
Keeping them in good and accessible condition is necessary to serve the needs of the youth and all citizens.
As part of the social offer, members of EDON Famagusta proceeded the day before yesterday, Sunday, November 6, to volunteer cleaning in parks in Deryneia and Frenaros. The parks were cleaned of grass and bushes, walls and benches were painted, trees were pruned, cleaning and garbage collection were done, etc.
"We believe that both the Municipalities and the communities should prioritize the construction and upgrading of green spaces and parks, with the state decisively assisting with funds and grants", EDON Famagusta states in its announcement.
