Food: Many customers wonder if the products they buy are of good quality. In case you are one of them, the customers, you only have to read the list below. So, the next time you go to the supermarket, you will be able to distinguish good quality food. In more detail:

Meat: When choosing a meat it is very important to pay attention to its color. Good quality beef should be red, have a more intense color, while lamb should be more pink, and pork, light pink. If the meat is fresh, the quality can be determined by touch. If your meat has moist and sticky mucus on the surface of its flesh - then you have a good reason to cancel the purchase. It is much better if the meat is dry and does not stick to your fingers.

Minced meat: The main feature of frozen minced meat - is the color. It varies from red to light pink, depending on the meat. If it is gray inside it means that it is stale or if it has dark spots. In the case of frozen meat, first of all you should be careful if it releases liquids. If not, then it is not worth it to buy minced meat. Buy better minced meat with a light red tint and liquids - which will definitely be fresh.

Chicken: To be absolutely sure that the chicken is fresh, check its touch: its skin must be clean and dry. Wet skin means the chicken was sick, and treated with antibiotics. Remember that even a fresh chicken can be tasteless and hard, just because it is stale. Poultry skin is oily, yellow, and in small chickens - pale, with visible marks on the legs.

Cold cuts: Sometimes, in the store you can find cold cuts with white marks, as if sprinkled with flour. In fact, it's not bad: it's harmless. However, if the surface of the sausages is sticky, then do not buy them under any circumstances.

Milk: If the milk is sold in glass bottles, then you can determine its quality before you buy it. Good milk should be thick, and have a pure white color. If you notice a blue tinge, surely the milk is diluted with water. Another way to check the quality of milk - is to throw it on a flat surface. If the milk remains in a single drop and remains thick it means that it is okay and has not changed.

Frozen vegetables and fruits: First, check the temperature at which these foods are in the refrigerator. If the temperature is too low do not buy them. Find out if the products are frozen during transport, from the packaging. Notice traces of ice or if they have a lot of air inside - and set them aside.

Bread: Well-baked bread made from high quality flour easily restores its shape. Try to put pressure on it and see if the dent remains. If so - then the bread is not of good quality.

Pasta: Good quality food in this category can be distinguished by their gold or orange color. Cheap pasta has a whiter or brighter yellow color.

Rice - Ρύζι : If many of the rice grains are black, and damaged then the rice should be withdrawn from sale.

Eggs: If the egg has darker spots on the outside, it means that you should probably not consume it. You can see how fresh the eggs are if you shake them. If you feel that the egg is shaking a lot inside, then that means you should probably not buy it.

Coffee: When buying coffee beans, try to bite one of them. It should break easily, but the inside should be dry and firm. As soft grain can be if it is of poor quality. The quality of pre-ground coffee should be evaluated by smell: it should be exactly the same as that of beans of the same variety. Finally, instant coffee can be tested empirically. Pour a little coffee in a glass of cold water and wait - the good quality powder should dissolve without leaving any residue.

Sugar: Sugar is easy to absorb moisture and if not stored properly, then it can easily get moisture. To see if the sugar has gotten wet, shake the package to see if it moves easily, does not stick together and does not form balls.

Sunflower oil: See sediment in the bottle - just forget to buy it. The precipitate shows that the oil had time to oxidize and become bitter.

Dairy foods such as butter: Natural butter without additives has a lot of fat - not less than 72,5%. If the percentage of fat is lower, then it is not without additives: perfumes, food coloring, and emulsifiers. Butter with a lot of fat leaves no trace on the foil or greaseproof paper. The color of the butter - is white, forming a light cream or has a yellow tinge.
