Extremely interesting research of the University of Nicosia on football in Cyprus. Among other things, the fans who do not go to the stadium were asked why they do not go. "Spontaneous responses" were recorded, as typically stated, and the results are astonishing.
At times, experts and non-experts alike tried to explain the declining attendance, stressing that one of the main reasons was the identification of fans, the abstention of the organized, and the measures taken by the KOP to provide tickets. The surprising thing is that in the research of the University of Nicosia these reasons do not appear anywhere.
