The established cycling in memory of Modestos Pantelis took place on Sunday, April 15, 2018, in Liopetri. Cycling has been organized for years by the Association of Parents and Guardians of the XNUMXnd Primary School of Liopetri in collaboration with the Community Council and the Community Police, the parents' associations of the primary and public kindergarten, the anti-drug school "Faros Zois" and the sports Elpis association.
The starting point of cycling was the house of the hero Modestos Pantelis where a flag was raised and the national anthem was sung. The cycling went to the camp "Modestos Pantelis" where a wreath was laid at the bust of the hero, followed by a stop at the historic site of the Barn, where also a wreath was laid and ended in the community square in front of the statue of the hero.
At the same time, in the patriotic unions ASHYRON, the established blood donation took place in memory of Modestos Pantelis.
