The traditional "Kalyfes tis Lambri" and the "Traditional Games" took place again this year in Deryneia. In his greeting, the Mayor of Deryneia, Mr. Andros G. Karagiannis, praised the work and the contribution of the volunteers in preserving the popular tradition and called on the citizens to be involved in the organized ensembles of the Municipality and to be part of the social ensemble of the Municipality.
"I invite you, as a parent and Mayor, to encourage your children to participate in common events. Only in this way will we strengthen the Volunteerism and the Social Contribution to our fellow human beings ", concluded the Mayor.
The events of Lambri were organized by "Anagennisi" and EDON Deryneia in collaboration with the Municipality of Deryneia.
