The world record for solving a cube is 4,59 seconds

It took just 0,38 seconds for an American robot to break the Rubik's Cube, breaking the previous world record of 0,637 seconds held by a German robot.

Each movement of the robot takes only 15 milliseconds. MIT student Ben Katz and Jared DiCarlo, who created the robot, said they were confident it could further improve its performance.

The previous record of the German engineer Albert Beer's Sub1 Reloaded robot was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records in 2017, according to the BBC. The world record for solving a cube is 4,59 seconds.

The Rubik's Cube, a 1974D mechanical puzzle, has been invented since XNUMX by Hungarian sculptor and architecture professor Erno Rubik. Today it is considered one of the most commercial toys in the world.
