At the same time, 80 cameras built into the tunnel will take pictures of them and they will scan their faces. At the end of the tunnel, visitors will either continue on their way to the plane or be asked to stop for further control, the report said.
The arrival of visitors through an aquarium, with fish swimming around, serves primarily aesthetic reasons, but also has a specific functionality.
"Fish is a form of entertainment and something new for the traveler, but at the same time they catch the traveler's eye at various angles in the tunnel so that the cameras can scan his face," said General Obaid Al Hameeri, his deputy director general for foreign affairs. Dubai.
According to the report, reproduced by ZDNet, Dubai Airport has been piloting various security technologies for a year and a half to make travel easier and safer.
Also, the airport is installed new explosive detectors that can detect a wider range of explosives.
