A one-week postponement is given to the Greek final for this year's Eurovision contest.
According to an article in the newspaper Real, the selection of the song that will represent Greece in the pan-European competition will finally take place next Thursday, February 22 (instead of the 16).
Wanting to ensure that there will be no financial misdemeanors, ERT asked the record companies of the candidates to submit a letter of guarantee of good performance of 20.000 euros, while setting the penalty clause - in case the guarantee falls to 90.000 euros.
Chorostalites with Spider Music, Gianna Terzi with Panik Entertainment and Areti Ketime with Spicy were the three candidates who claimed the "ticket".
All this, however, until yesterday, after Areti Ketime and the Horostalites withdrew from the participation claim, leaving Gianna Terzi as the only participant.
Areti Ketime announced her retirement with an announcement on her personal Facebook account. According to the rumors, ERT asked the record companies for a guarantee amount, which had not been collected by the managers
Areti Ketime wrote characteristically:
"Well, it seems that we are out of the Greek final
The fact that the companies learned at the last minute about the letter of guarantee needed and the financial terms while (a company had prepared earlier) without comment!
If ERT wanted a direct assignment, we would not mind, it is clear and nice.
I will try again but I feel sorry for my colleagues who gave their souls.

After Areti Ketime, their withdrawal from the claim for participation in Eurovision announced the Chorostalites.
Their announcement was also made from their official page at Facebook, through which, in fact, "emptied" the ERT.
