Miller noted that "access to a diagnosis is a privilege not enjoyed by many", while acknowledging that his diagnosis was "shocking" but "not surprising".

"I do not know enough about autism. "There is a lot to learn", the actor wrote and completed his message thanking those who "consciously or unconsciously gave me this extra piece of grace and space over the years".
