Four-day detention order against a 55-year-old resident of a village in the province of Famagusta, issued today the District Court of Famagusta.

According to the Police, the 55-year-old was arrested yesterday, to facilitate investigations into an investigated case of injury to a 52-year-old resident of Larnaca.

Specifically, according to what the 52-year-old reported to the Police, around 2 p.m. Yesterday, while she was at the home of a 51-year-old woman, in the area of ​​Agia Thekla in Sotira, she was attacked by her 55-year-old brother, who allegedly beat him and injured him with an iron object (construction tool).

The 52-year-old is being treated at the General Hospital of Nicosia and his health condition is described as stable and out of danger.
