Two other persons, aged 20 and 24, were arrested to facilitate the Police's investigations regarding an investigated case of helping a total of 458 irregular migrants, who were in six boats and were spotted off Cabo Greco on Monday, March 11, to illegally enter the territory of the Republic of Cyprus .

It is a 20-year-old and a 24-year-old from Syria who were on the 2nd and 3rd boat.

The two arrested are expected to be brought before the District Court of Famagusta today for the issuance of their detention orders.

It is recalled that the police handcuffed a total of eight alleged traffickers for the most massive arrival of illegal immigrants by sea in recent years.
