The member of the Committee, Sotos Ktoris stated that the works in ancient Salamis lasted 8 months, was done with the bi-communal cooperation of conservators and archaeologists and the mosaics, all the archeological findings and the basilicas of Agios Epifanios and Kampanopetra were preserved. "They are monuments of exceptional importance, which testify to the splendor of the ancient city of Constantia and especially its position as the most important Cypriot city of the pre-Byzantine period. It is a project of emblematic importance, which was made possible through the cooperation of Greek and Turkish conservators and archaeologists ".

Mr. Ktoris said that there is no doubt that this is one of the most important projects done by the bi-communal Technical Committee, as they testify to the history of the island and the rich cultural heritage of our country.
