"Varosi is no longer closed, it is open and the Greek Cypriots are appealing to the (illegal)" real estate committee "to be given their rights," the pseudo-state leader told Gündem Kıbrıs Web TV.

According to the Press and Information Office, Tatar said that President Anastasiadis is telling the Greek Cypriots that a solution will be found to the Cyprus problem and that they will return to their properties in Varosi. "Citizens have lost faith in the problem for 47 years. Their greatest wish is to contact the 'real estate committee' and get their rights. There are over 400 applications. If there is no pressure, there will be thousands. We are on the right track. A 5 km area called Varosi is open at the moment. That was her old name. It is now open. From the day it opened until today, more than 400 thousand people visited it ".

He reiterated that Turkey supports the opening of Varos and added that the solution to the Cyprus problem must be realistic and practical. "The two sides have been separate for 60 years, there is a separate state, there are things that are experienced separately. It must be a fair and sustainable agreement. "We do not want quarrels and conflict again."

He argued that the results of the "parliamentary elections" showed that the "two-state solution model" has been adopted by the "people".
