The scene surrounding the possible purchase and sale of hotels in Varosia remains unclear.

The representative of displaced PASYXE hoteliers, Stelios Madritis, spoke about this specific issue on the Protoselido show.

He initially reported that apparently a private agreement had been made between the three hoteliers and the alleged buyer. The publication in the particular newspaper in which it is said to be his, claims some things which some are true and some are not.

"The first is that it has the approval of our Ministry of Internal Affairs, which is not valid, and secondly, the competent court of Europe, which is involved in the property issue, stated that they do not have any application and without obtaining approval from the court, no transfer of property can take place. Thirdly, in this agreement he asks for a grace period of two months if the facts do not change", he said.

He noted that the question is the time he is asking is to go inside and see the condition of the hotels, how much it will cost him and if he does not like it, will he not proceed or wait to see what will happen with the elections in Turkey?

He also added that, the alleged buyer says he has the approval of the Turkish Ambassador, meaning Ankara's approval and everyone else follows.
