"Stay away from Cyprus", warns young girls from Britain, the 19-year-old who was sentenced by the Famagusta District Court to four months in prison with suspension for causing public harm after a false accusation of gang rape last summer in Ayia Napa. The 19-year-old British woman spoke to The Sun newspaper about the ordeal she went through in Cyprus, saying that "Cyprus was originally a holiday island, but now it represents hell".
"If you are about my age and you are thinking of going on holiday to Cyprus this summer, I would like to tell you not to go, just choose another destination", was the message of the 19-year-old through the British newspaper.
Regarding her claim that she was raped, the 19-year-old said that "her rapists were like a herd of wolves". It is recalled that the 19-year-old filed an appeal against the conviction.
