A very important development is the Decree on Customs Ports of 2021, K.D.P. 31/2021 which defines the ports of limited use for the purposes concerning the responsibilities of the Customs Department, which includes Ayia Napa, the use of which is limited to the boarding and disembarking of crews and passengers of cruise ships and large pleasure boats which , due to their size, they cannot dock in the Ayia Napa Marina, with the luggage that accompanies them as well as in the oil and supply of cruise ships.
