Lifeguards mobilized at Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa after locating an unconscious man around 13:30 on Friday (11/6).
According to a post by the Pancyprian Committee of Professional Beach Lifeguards, "today 11/06 at around 13.30, an unconscious, elderly foreigner, about 70 years old, was pulled out of the water. The victim was provided with first aid (cardiopulmonary resuscitation and oxygen) while due to the seriousness of his condition an ambulance was called for his immediate transfer to the General Hospital of Famagusta.
