The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that today Friday, October 21, 2022, the Department of Public Works announced a Tender for the Ayia Napa Fire Station (Tender No.: A/5/2022(E)).
The total area of the Project is 2350m2 (1800m2 ground floor and 550m2 first floor). The Project includes Administration, Training, Sports areas, Changing rooms, Day and Overnight staff areas, Warehouse areas and a Depot, with an area of 600m2, eight spaces, for the parking of firefighting vehicles.
In addition to the above, the Project includes outdoor training areas, a parking area for 25 vehicles, an outdoor area for washing fire engines, an underground fuel tank for refueling fire engines and an underground water tank for testing fire pumps.
The category of the Project is Construction and is classified as Class II. It will be implemented using the Design, Construction and 12-year Maintenance method and its estimated value is €7.378.000 including VAT.
The deadline for submitting bids is 27/01/2023.
The Contract is expected to be signed within the coming April and the duration of its study and construction is 30 months.
