A fire broke out at 2pm on Wednesday in a wooded area south of Cape Greco in Ayia Napa, near the sewer system.
The fire is raging in low forest vegetation and acacias while five vehicles of the Fire Service, the Municipality of Ayia Napa and the Forest Department are trying to extinguish it, as well as two aircraft of the Forest Department.
According to information, it seems that the fire has been brought under control by the members of the Fire Service.
So far, the cause of the fire remains unknown, while more will be seen after the police examinations.
Members of the Police are also present at the scene.
