A fire broke out tonight in an apartment complex in Ayia Napa which was evacuated as a precaution. The fire was brought under control.
According to the Fire Service, the fire broke out shortly before eight in the evening in an apartment located on the first floor of the complex at the junction of Tefkrou Anthia and Giannaki Pappoulis streets.
Members of the Fire Service rushed to the scene and managed to bring the fire under control.
The apartment complex was evacuated as a precaution without endangering anyone.
In the apartment where the fire started, there are three Indians who were absent at the time of the fire.
The exact causes of the fire will be ascertained tomorrow by the investigations carried out by the Fire Brigade and the Electromechanical Service, in collaboration with the Police.
