The Police, in the province of Famagusta, arrested a 20-year-old man for the illegal possession and use of laughing gas in the morning hours today.
Specifically, at around 1.15 am today, members of the Police spotted a 20-year-old man inhaling from a balloon containing nitrous oxide in the area of Ayia Napa.
During the ensuing search, 33 unused metal ampoules, six used metal ampoules, two ampoule use devices and three balloons were located and seized from his possession.
Subsequently, the 20-year-old was arrested for spontaneous offenses and subsequently, he was taken to a Police Station, where he was interrogated and accused in writing. He was then released to appear in court.
The Agia Napa Police Station continues the examinations.
