The Ayia Napa marina has accepted requests to accept boats with Israelis and foreign nationals leaving war-torn areas of Israel.

The first two boats, on which 65 Israelis and European citizens will board, will arrive from Haifa within the day at the marina, which has already set up a mechanism to receive them.

One boat will carry 50 people and the other 15, with the majority being women and children, as the director of the marina, Kostas Fitiris, told Philenews. "We will provide all the support they need and free stay for the boats," he noted.

Regarding the arrival of the boats, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the KSED were informed and arrangements were made to pick up the passengers on the boats and transport them to Larnaca. Those who have flights to other countries will be transferred to a place of temporary accommodation, while the rest will remain at the Larnaca KEN, which welcomes citizens of other foreign countries after the activation of the National Home Plan.

The marina of Ayia Napa has received informal requests for the reception of other boats and will remain ready, said Mr. Fitiris. "We also experienced such moments in Cyprus and we will provide all possible help. The marina of Ayia Napa is ready to contribute to the management of the issue, in cooperation with the Authorities of the Republic".
