Margarita Marti presents her first solo painting exhibition tonight at the Municipal Museum of the Sea of Ayia Napa.

The inauguration will take place at the Sea Museum in Ayia Napa tonight at 7:30.
The exhibition will remain open until March 31.

The opening of the exhibition will be made by the Member of Parliament for DISY Famagusta and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Kyriakos Hatzigiannis.
The exhibition is presented by the painter Christos Pitsillos.

Pinocchio, Pinocchio's cousin, bored with life on Earth, decides to escape to a mythical world where the top is down and the left is right.
This is the first solo exhibition of Margarita Marti. Her work stands out for its detail with elements of neo-surrealism.
The painter draws elements from Greek mythology but also from classic children's heroes. The viewer encounters elements from Cypriot history and tradition, delicate angels, mythical beings, ornate buildings and lace clouds. The paintings also show the local element of the area of Kokkinochoria with a toymood. The presence of the female element is also strong. In this piece, the painter plays with destiny and free will.
Margarita Marti
Margarita Marti comes from Sotira, Famagusta. She is a primary school teacher and has recently published a children's book. He holds a Master's degree in Art Teaching from the University of Exeter and has taught art to elementary school children. Participated in group art exhibitions.
She is characterized by a great love for drawing and painting. She loves the fantastic, the originality but also the contrast. The inanimate comes to life and dances to the rhythm of joy in feathery clouds accompanied by music, while the darkness lurks in some corners. Sometimes it takes a central role and other times it disappears.
Pinolino and every Pinolino is the man who decides to see the world in all its glory: A dance of the modern with the old, of violent truth with unexpected joy, of mythology with technology, of stagnation with dynamism. Pinolino, a wooden man, escapes into this world.
