On October 10, 2021 at 18:00 the KSED received information regarding the fall of a paraglider with an engine in an inaccessible location in the area of Cape Greco.
The KSED, immediately mobilized the Fire Service of Paralimni Station, a pedestrian patrol of AD Famagusta, as well as an ambulance of the Ambulance Service of the State Health Services Organization (OKYPY).
The Fire Service of Paralimni Station, after retrieving the injured, handed him over to an ambulance of the Ambulance Service and then was transferred to the General Hospital of Famagusta.
He is a 51-year-old Frenchman who has multiple injuries and fractures.
The Air Accident and Incident Investigation Committee was duly informed about the incident.
