The Epiphany will be celebrated in Ayia Napa with all its splendor this year.
The Municipality of Ayia Napa and the Holy Diocese of Constantia - Famagusta will perform on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the Holy Temple of Panagia Ayia Napa the Celebrations of the Holy Epiphanies.
The Divine Liturgy and the Great Sanctification will be celebrated by His Eminence the Metropolitan of Constantia - Famagusta Mr. Vasilios, in the presence of the Mayor Mr. Christos Zannettos, the Members of the Municipal Council of Agia Napa, representatives of the Army, the Police and other officials.
This will be followed by the Baptism of the Holy Cross and the Consecration of the Waters in the Port of Ayia Napa where the first swimmer will be awarded a Gold Cross.
In the specially designed area of the Port, a traditional artistic program with Cypriot and Greek Dances and songs will be presented by the Dance Group of the Municipality of Agia Napa and the "Kimon" Xylotympos Dance Group.
