The investigators of TAE Famagusta are passing through a sieve the telecommunication data of the two mobile phones that the victim of the recent murderous attack in Ayia Napa, 47-year-old Kyriakos Hadjisavvas.

Police hope that by examining the telecommunications data of the devices used by the victim as well as the phones belonging to people who allegedly had disputes with the 47-year-old, he may be led to the perpetrators. A process, however, that is time consuming and is expected to take several more days. The process of evaluating the closed surveillance circuits from the area where the crime was committed is also time consuming.

The branch of TAE Famagusta that deals with the murder of Koullis Hadjisavvas has to evaluate a large number of closed surveillance circuits (in addition to ten), in the hope of detecting some suspicious move, which may lead to the arrest of the executor. Ten days after the violent crime that took place in the parking lot of the apartment complex where the 47-year-old lived, on Tefkrou Anthia Street, the Police still could not find the end of the line.

The investigation of the case is considered extremely complicated, as there was no eyewitness, while at the scene was not found any evidence to help locate the perpetrator.

At the same time, investigators are awaiting the results of the ballistic tests performed on the fragments of the bullet that were found in the victim's head, in order to ascertain the type of weapon used by the killer.

As for the motives of the murder, the Police do not have anything tangible in their hands that leads to a specific direction.

The fact that the victim had friendly relations with people involved in the quadruple murder forces the investigators to direct their investigations in this direction as well.
