One dead and one seriously injured, is the report of a new deadly road collision, which occurred yesterday afternoon, in the province of Famagusta. The 24-year-old Tulsi Bhusal, from Nepal, is dead, while the 30-year-old is being treated in serious condition at the Nicosia General Hospital.
The accident happened around 6.20pm. on Akropoleos Street, in Deryneia, when the 24-year-old, under investigated conditions, lost control of the motorcycle he was riding, with the result that it deviated from its course and crashed into the wall of a house.
Both the 24-year-old driver and the 30-year-old, who was also riding the motorcycle, were injured in the collision. They were transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of Famagusta, where the 24-year-old succumbed to his injuries. As for the 30-year-old, as it was found out, she has multiple fractures and due to the seriousness of her condition, she was admitted to the General Hospital of Nicosia, for further treatment.
The Famagusta Traffic Police is investigating the causes of the collision.
