Near their occupied land and a breath away from the enclosed Famagusta were found today for another year the people of Deryne and travelers from the province of Famagusta who went to the plain of Agia Marina within the Dead Zone of Deryneia to honor the customs of Katha.
The customs of Clean Monday did not lack kite flying as well as the baking and consumption of the Sarakostians, while the people of Deryneia had the opportunity to enjoy the unique view of the plain and the small dam of Deryneia which is located within the dead zone near occupied beach.
The move to Agia Marina was organized for the third consecutive year by the Municipality of Deryneia after a permit from the United Nations.
