The best impressions to the residents but also to the locals and foreign visitors, left the Municipal Choir of Deryneia with its participation in the 5th Choir Meeting of the Municipality of Thassos, in which it participated along with three other choirs from Greece.
The delegation consisted of 55 members, including the mayor of Deryneia and the chairmen of the municipal Culture and Refugee Committees. The choirs of the Municipal Choir of Deryneia, impressed the audience with the high level of performance of the songs at Theatraki Theagenis in Limenas Thassos.
The mayor of Deryneia, Mr. Andros G. Karagiannis, had the opportunity to meet with the mayor of the island, Konstantinos Hadjiemmanuel, and the deputy mayors, with whom he discussed the prospects of cooperation in the fields of Culture, Sports and Youth.
